The Rushing Magic Attack is Great Tiger's Signature Move in contender mode. He often does this attack (about every four to six attacks). He steps to the back of the ring and clones himself. One will charge an uppercut first based on whichever jewel blinks first. The clone is transparent and deals no damage. You must dodge in the direction Great Tiger launches the uppercut. However, to knock Great Tiger down (notably for challenge #3), you must counter the attack. Whether it being by a hook, or a well timed Star Punch, he will go down. He changes how this is done in Title Defense: he will send himself and a clone towards Little Mac 3 to 5 times depending on how many times he is knocked down, and after that, he spins around. If the spin is ducked, he will stun himself and a Star Punch will knock him down (if any uppercuts are dodged) or out (if all uppercuts are countered).
