Glass Joe blowing on his coffee. This is an example of an image in a slideshow.

Slideshows refer to series of images that serve as an introduction to opponents in Punch Out!! for the Wii. These are shown just before beginning a fight with an opponent to give him more backstory. During these, several images of the opponent are shown. These either depict him living his life normally, training for his contender match, or how he's trained to take on Little Mac in Title Defense. The music played during each slideshow is either an actual song from his country or stereotypical music associated with said country or nationality.
